Pinewood Derby 2010

Saturday, March 20th, all boys, girls and their families are invited to the Kalispell Center Mall to take part in Pinewood Derby 2010, hosted by volunteers of the Montana Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

This February marked the 100th Anniversary of the BSA and our local volunteers are celebrating at the west end of the Mall in front of Herbergers; there will be three Pinewood Derby tracks (we have cars in case you don't), a photography booth, displays of Scouting units and their activities, a scavenger hunt, and four guest speakers (including Kass Hardy, Glacier National Park Centennial Coordinator, and Dr. Al Olszewski, a local physician who recently returned from a relief mission to Haiti).

Tickets are available the day of the event and can be purchased with donations to the Flathead Valley Food Bank.
