Poets in the Gallery: New Poets of the American West

The Hockaday Museum of Art announces an evening with Poets in the Gallery: New Poets of the American West  reception featuring guest poets Victor Charlo, Roger Dunsmore, Lowell Jaeger and Cas Still. Highlights of the event include an introduction to the newly-released anthology, New Poets of the American West, edited by Lowell Jaeger, founder of the Many Voices Press at FVCC, and an opportunity to meet, listen to, and exchange thoughts with all four guest poets.

New Poets of the American West is an anthology of more than 250 poets from eleven Western states, representing Native Americans and first-generation immigrants to ranchlanders and teachers.  Copies of the book will be available for sale and signing throughout the entire evening.  In addition, each guest poet will bring his/her own poetry books for sale and signing.  Proceeds benefit FVCC's Many Voices Press and the Hockaday Museum of Art.
