Art Walk & Holiday Stroll

It’s holiday time and once again plans are under way for the annual Kalispell Art Walk & Holiday Stroll.  This Downtown celebration will take place Friday, December 2, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm. Pick up your walking card the night of the event at most downtown participating businesses. Shoppers will get their cards stamped to be entered in a drawing for gift certificates.  A minimum of twelve stamps will be required. Gift certificates can be used only at participating businesses.  We look forward to seeing downtown Kalispell.

Join the Trinity Christmas Handbell Ringers and members of the Crown of the Continent Choir for Caroling and Lighting of the Community Tree at 6 PM, The Kalispell Chamber of Commerce, Depot Park.

Historical Walking Tour

Carnegie LibraryKalispell, Montana, began as a railroad town and this fact shaped its history for many years. The townsite was platted in the spring of 1891 in order to serve as the division point for the Great Northern Railway that was being constructed from St. Paul, Minnesota, to Seattle, Washington.
