8th Annual 5K & 10K "A Run through History"
"Flooding the Streets of Kalispell"
The Kalispell Downtown Association and the Kalispell Business Improvement District in association with our Title Sponsor National Flood Services have scheduled the 8th Annual 5k and 10k RUN THROUGH HISTORY – Flooding the Streets of Kalispell with FUN! Don’t miss out sign up today for RACE DAY, April 9, 2017 with the 10k beginning at 1:00 PM and the 5k at 1:15 PM. Awards ceremony immediately following at the Kalispell Brewery, 418 Main St., Kalispell.
If you are planning on participating in the Spartan Race or preparing for the summer season, sign up for this great race! Run alone, put together a team, or challenge another business in a friendly competition. Team T shirts or costumes are welcome and encouraged. Teams of 5 or more receive a discount of $2.00. Collect sponsorships, we would be happy to deliver your donation to Cancer Support Communities.
Join us on Sunday, April 9 for the Run through History. The run begins at the Museum at Central School in Kalispell traveling through Woodland Park, passes the Conrad Museum and continues through the historic eastside residential District. The conclusion of the race is at The Hockaday Museum of Art. Bring your running Bib to get a discount on your first beer the day of the race only at Kalispell Brewing. They will be open from 1– 5:00 PM for the awards ceremony.
This is a family fun event and everyone, runners, walkers & strollers are invited to participate. The 10k race begins at 1:00 PM followed by the 5k at 1:15 PM. The cost of this event is only $15.00 if registered prior to April 1. Registration is $20.00 after April 1.
Packet Pick-Up: At Kalispell Brewing Company –1:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday,
April 8 and at the race starting line at the Museum at Central School on race day morning beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Swag: Those registered prior to April 1, 2017 will be guaranteed a commemorative race shirt.
After April 1, shirts will be available first come, first served.
Awards: will be given to the top overall male and female finishers. The top male & female finishers in each of the following age groups; 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60 & over will also receive an award.

The 10k race starting point is at the corner of 1st St. E. and 3rd Ave. E. The 10k does 2 laps on the 5k course with the first lap continuing north on 4th Ave E instead of turning towards the finish on 3rd St E. Then, turn left on 2nd St E to gain the original starting point and do one more lap before finishing. Click here to Download Run Map.
