Accessibility today like high-fashion designers who design lines for major retailers, the internet and its social media platform has allowed Ciao Interiors to provide basic design services for clients across the world that did not previously have access to the Ciao brand. It has enabled Ciao to expand its brand beyond just high-end and luxury resort clients and shows that good design can be affordable.

Les Bernabi, Kalispell, Montana based Principle Commercial and Residential Interior Designer has been chosen as a 2018-2019 Designer of the Year (DOTY) winner from the Interior Design Society (IDS). Mr. Bernabi joins just three other winners for the category “Kitchens $50,000 and Above” for his design work modernizing a 1990’s log cabin within the Flathead Valley. With over hundreds of entries for the “Kitchen” category, Mr. Bernabi ranks with just six other winners and is one of only a few design firms recognized in the western United States. Mr. Bernabi is the only Montana based designer to ever win a DOTY award.

For this project, Mr. Bernabi notes he and his team “designed a palate of colors to work with existing rock and wood surfaces but most importantly bring life to the long and gray winters.”
